#304: How Vegetable Gardening Helps One Young Boy with Autism Get Past His Fear of Communication In this inspiring episode of the Vegetable Gardening show, Mike chats with Joni Gale. Jonie is Tyler's mom, and Tyler has a form of autism that keeps him from communicating as well as he should. To aid with his communication skills, Tyler's doctor had recommended that he get into gardening, and take what he grows to the farmer's market and sell it to others looking to purchase fresh veggies.

Sadly, a house flood has caused a lot of damage to Tyler's gardening supplies, so Joni set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money to replace what Tyler has lost.

Joni, will tell us about how Tyler enjoys gardening, the number of hours he spends tending to his garden and so much more
