In This Episode of the Vegetable Gardening Show
In this episode of the Vegetable Gardening show, Mike chats with Fit for Sanity's Irene Gabelnick about how you can get more of your home grown fruits & vegetables into your daily healthy eating.
As you know, consuming home grown fruits and vegetables is healthy for you for many reasons. One of the drawbacks to getting more vegetables into a daily healthy eating routine for a lot of people is that they have busy lifestyles. Between work and running the kids around to soccer practice, believe me, as a dad of two, I know, it's tough to get, not only yourself to eat healthy, but getting the kids to their daily requirements of fruits and vegetables.
Irene is going going to show us some simple tricks on getting more vegetables into our everyday meals to increase our intake of what we grow and also buy at the farmer's market.
She'll share with us some easy sample recipes, as well as a few tips to help you save some money on your weekly grocery bill.
