Michael will share with us how he got started, some of the challenges he faced in the beginning, some of the setbacks he experienced along the way, and why he believes small scare farms such as his, are the wave of the future.

From there he will share with us his techniques for weeding, how he keeps the soil nutrient rich, and the crops he focuses in on for the most success.

#343: How to Start Your Own Half Acre Farm While Working Fulltime (Michael Bell) Michael Bell is a full time teacher and father of 3 out of Dallas Texas. He started his 1/2 acre farm in April of 2016. He runs a CSA and will move into a couple of small restaurants in the summer of 18. He specializes in year round salad mix, tomatoes and other summer staple crops. His farm is “beyond organic” and is a no till farm.
